All about the world’s longest river cruise that PM Narendra Modi will flag off on January 13

On janurary 13th, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath told on Monday that our own prime minister Narendra Modi is all set to flag off  on the world’s longest river cruise ‘Ganga vilas’ – from Varanasi to Dibrugarh via Bangladesh. The cruise ship covering a journey of 3200km in 50 days and passing through 27 river systems in India and Bangladesh, will give a chance to visit over 50 architecturally important places, including world heritage sites. The ship has the capacity to hold 80 passengers and is a luxury cruise which consists of 18 vessels, is known to us according the official website of ‘Ganga Vilas’

According to the timetable launched in advance, Ganga Vilas Cruise will start its adventure from Varanasi and could reach Patna at the 8th day, passing thru Buxar, Ramnagar and Ghazipur. From Patna, the cruise will set sail for Kolkata and could reach the West Bengal capital on the 20th day via Farakka and Murshidabad. Tomorrow, it will spark off for Dhaka and enter the Bangladesh border. It’s going to stay inside the country waters for the next 15 days. Finally, it’ll come returned to India through Guwahati earlier than sailing via Sibsagar and attaining its final vacation spot at Dibrugarh.

And moreover, national parks and sanctuaries, including the Subarbans delta and kaziranga national park will also be on the route for the cruise and of course the cruise will offer facilities like music, cultural programs, a gym, a spa, an open air observation deck, personalized butler service and many other things to make the cruise experience enjoyable and memorable. The buffet in the ship consist of delicacies like continental and Indian and offering many more yummy food.

The ship is built with a unique design which is blending both cultural and modern aspects and amenities and a futuristic vision.
