As per the recent guidelines, Indians wanting to visit the southeast Europe will now have to apply for a visa. As per the recent guidelines, the country has restricted the visa-free entry to all the Indian nationals as of January 1. As mentioned by the Embassy of India, Belgrade, all Indian passport holders will require a visa to enter the Republic of Serbia.
As per the earlier system, which was being followed until recently that the visa-free Indian passport holders could stay for 30 days in Serbia, has been pulled back. However, the Schengen holding Indian nationals will be unaffected. The nationals of Guinea-Bissau (West Africa), Tunisia (North Africa) and Burundi (East Africa) have been secluded from visa-free entry.

The area comprising 27 European countries that have officially obliterated all the passports and border controls at their shared borders. The area was named after the Schengen Agreement of 1985 and Schengen Convention of 1990. Both of these agreements were signed in Schengen, Luxembourg. Despite having 27 states as its members, 23 of these are in the Schengen area. Bulgaria, Cyprus and Romania are the three amongst the five European Union members who were previously not the part of Schengen area, to have been legally required to be. Therefore, an Indian to enter the area are required to have an Indian passport (not older than ten years of validity), a valid Schengen visa, evidence on their purpose of entry and a proof of their financial stability.
As per the mentioned exemption to the Indians with Schengen area permit, UK and US visa or residents thereof will also be permitted to enter Serbia as of 1 January up to 90 days. Countries such as Mauritius, Thailand, Maldives and few others have still not levied any such restrictions on holiday travel for Indians.
Somewhere no more countries should do that to people as if everyone requires a visa trip would be difficult for people to enjoy their openness. They should not restrict so much rules and especially it should not be just for Indians.
