While addressing the reporters, Minister of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship of Canada Sean Fraser proclaimed that his department is extending work permits to members of the families of temporary foreign staff on weekdays.
Prior to this announcement, spouses were solely eligible for a piece allowance if the principal individual was operating in an exceedingly high-skill occupation. This temporary living arrangement aims to enhance the emotional well-being, physical health, and monetary stability of staff by keeping families together. As a result, it’s expected that the employee can better integrate into their overall work setting and community, in keeping with the press statement released by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.
Starting in the Gregorian calendar month of 2023, Canada can extend eligibility to work in Canada to spouses and working-age children through a phased approach for staff with the least amount of talent levels over a brief two-year period. This may include families of staff in health care, trades, and welcome, as examples.
