French designer Alioua shows ‘Orient Express’ at Paris Haute Couture

French designer Najib Alioua has presented Fall Winter 2021-22 couture collection ‘Orient Express’ during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week online. The luxurious, chic and elegant collection includes dresses, trapeze, coat and other pantsuits made with Calais Solstiss lace, handmade embroidery, corolla sleeves, cotton velvet, tweed and leg-of-mutton sleeves.

 

“Attention to detail and structure have been perfectly executed in the Marseillais workshops of Najib,” according to the desginer’s press release. “The key word here is crossbreeding. A mix of cultures and inspiration like an invitation to travel.”

 

Born in Paris, to a Parisian family from Constantine, Alioua became interested in the magical universe of colours, shapes and matter, namely fabric, very early in his life. After a serious training as a stylist in Paris, he acquired a solid experience with prestigious fashion houses such as Ted Lapidus, Balenciaga and Prada.
