We all know that these days we are all stressed and worked out through our entire day of hectic schedule. And there are number of methods like different asanas, workouts, medications etc. nutritionist Ishti Saluja mentioned that ‘’being stressed or anxious is the body’s way of telling you to slow down, take some time and reduce the pressure. If left unattended, this pressure goes up to the brain and interferes with the body’s daily responses and concentration levels.

And if a person in case of chronic diseases is not able to carry out daily routine activities  like taking a shower, cooking, studying, doing office work, then all is normal. Sometimes you just don’t know the reason behind your anxiety and stress but sometimes it is revealed in cases like death of loved one, divorce , health issues or etc then the solutions are easier and so is the treatment. It is important to eat healthy and keep our body relaxed at all times. Even be at any serious situation we should always understand how to keep our calm.

She added ‘’ a diet rich with minerals, proteins, vitamins, fats, fibre , everything is required by the body in a proper quantity. Especially we should always keep a check on or water intake. Enough quantity of ghee, nuts, fruits and seeds are required by the body to fulfil its unmet demands.

  1. FIBRE AND WATER-  a great way to intake fibre is overnight soaked chia seeds, spinach, whole grains, nuts, berries and overnight oats. Fibre and water are important to flush out the toxins present in our body.
  2. PROTEIN- sufficient protein intake is necessary for the muscle build up and keep your body physically strong and help you to maintain mental stress. Our body feel lethargic after doing a lot of work and to maintain those issues protein is needed. Example; eggs, milk, dals, protein powder, paneer, sunflower seeds and many more.
  3. CARBOHYDRATES-  ‘’Carbs are needed to replenish the used energy’’, she said. So, accordingly a healthy meal should include carbohydrates. Example; oats, fruits, vegetables, white rice etc.

Not only food but exercise, fitness or overall positive lifestyle is needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Getting enough sleep and waking up on time are also some healthy aspects of a great and balanced lifestyle. Just make your routine and bind yourself to it.
