Mehrzaad Mogrelia is an upcoming author who debuted as an author in the year 2020 with his book- ‘A Quest called Life’ which is an anthology of poems that focuses on various aspects, events and people that shape the course of our life. It was released amid the ongoing pandemic to give people a positive outlook towards life. Ever since, the book has performed extremely well and has been conferred several national and international awards and nominations.
Besides being an upcoming author, he has also excelled in the field of academics (receiving the Vice-Chancellor’s International scholarship to study at the University of Sydney, award received from the Rotary Club of Bombay Queen City for excellent performance at the HSC Level), sports (received a gold and bronze medal at the All Parsee Swimming Competition held in 2011), cultural activities (represented Australia at the Asia-Pacific Quizzing Championship and secured a silver medal in the individual championship category along with a gold medal for the highest score in the science category. secured the first (in 2012) and third (in 2010) position at the Kuoni Academy Intercollegiate Travel Quiz, secured the first place in the all-Mumbai quiz organized by Rotaract Mumbai in 2014, secured the first place in the all-Mumbai Drama competition organized by Rotaract Mumbai).
Above all, he has been an active member of the Rotaract Movement (the youth wing of the Rotary Movement globally) that aims to solve ongoing social issues and fosters important skills like leadership communication, corporate etiquette, etc.
During his Rotaract tenure, he has won several awards like Best Director- Training, Revival and Sustenance and Best Project- Training, Revival and Sustenance in 2014, Best Team- Team Secretariat in 2017.
