The first woman commissioner in Uttar Pradesh, Laxmi Singh has already served as Deputy Inspector General of Meerut range, so she is already familiar with the place as it falls somewhere around Gautam Buddh Nagar. She personally tackled an accident which took life of a young woman, to suspending a Station house officer for not registering an FIR on time.
