The past several years have seen a marked increase in young people getting involved in politics, and they are regarded as the future of the country as they have astute minds, which can change the political scene for good. At the same time, some have entered politics as they come from a political background and have chosen this field to carry forward the legacy of their families. Some have come with no experience or support and have only stepped into the world of politics to make a huge difference. This young breed of politicians provides much-needed energy and positivity to the Indian political realm. Amongst the many young guns who hold a promising future in politics is Kushagra Verma, who has won the hearts of a million commoners in his constituency with his impressive line of work. This law graduate has proved his mettle by doing outstanding work, which has been appreciated by all quarters, including political bigwigs.
Kushagra hails from Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, and comes from an affluent Awadhi family. This 33-year-old young politician grew up in his paternal village Baghain, Sitapur, UP, till he was 13, and after completing his education, his family shifted to Lucknow. “I have always been inspired by the great stories of our patriots who have laid their lives to make our country proud. I have always followed their philosophy in life as their spirit and vision have always inspired me to the core,” says Kushagra. To fuel his passion for working towards the betterment of the country and its fellow-men, he joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Lucknow. This started his journey into the world of politics, and gradually he was drawn towards the leadership of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), which changed his life for good.
“I have always been inspired by the ideologies of some of the great figures who have worked relentlessly for the upliftment of the country, and I draw my inspiration from these towering personalities who have never given a second thought in working for the betterment of countrymen,” says Kushagra who hails from Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. This young leader had spent his early years in his paternal village Baghain, Sitapur and later on shifted to Lucknow when he was 13. He has always followed the philosophies of India’s patriots and wants every Indian to follow their path. He had always wanted to contribute to society’s betterment, and with that aim, he joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Lucknow. Little did he know that this would lead to a journey towards politics. Eventually, he joined the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), which kick-started his journey into the world of Indian politics. At present, Kushagra Verma is the member of Bharat Tibet Sahyog Manch (BTSM) and Samdrishti Kshamata Vikas Evam Anusandhan Mandal (SAKSHAM), in BTSM and holds the post of “Mantri (Awadh Prant)” in UP, and in SAKSHAM holds the position of vice-president of Lucknow, Mahanagar in UP.
At present, Kushagra Verma is the member of Sampark Vibhag of Rastriya Swyamsewak Sangh and Bharat Tibet Sahyog Sangh (BTSS-Reg) and Samdrishti Kshamata Vikas Evam Anusandhan Mandal (SAKSHAM),RSS in Sampark Vibhag he holds a Post of Nagar Sampark Pramukh(sewa pradata prakost), Lucknow in BTSS he holds the post of “Prant Adyaksh (Awadh Prant)” in UP, and in SAKSHAM holds the post of vice-president of Lucknow Mahanagar in UP. Coming from an affluent awadhi family who have themselves been involved in the work of community welfare since ages, there’s no doubt that it runs in the family and the way in which Kushagra is achieving more milestones with time, he will definitely emerge as a seasoned politician who will change the future of the country, we’re sure.
