An email sent by Musk over the weekend to his staffers asking to sign a pledge sharing information related to twitter with the media. And the email was missed as they did not check the same over the weekend. Due to this incident and lack of information more than 100 employees lost their access.
Now, this was a confidential thing to not leak the information related to twitter as by the email sent over by Musk. And since they were not able to check their emails on Sunday it missed the people to not sign the pledge. And this thing did not go well with Musk. As per Plat former, Musk dispatched an e mail to his employees asking them to sign the pledge agreeing no longer to leak any information related to the company to media and to abide by using non-disclosure agreements they signed when they joined the business enterprise. He also cited within the mail that the company could sue people who leak facts in spite of signing the pledge.
As per the reports, it was not like the employees were not ready to sign or something and twitter even asked its employees through an email confirming their decision to remain loyal to their non-disclosure agreements. In conclusion, it is unclear whether the employees missed checking their emails or refused to sign the pledge which was confirmed or re confirmed required through an email.
As per the reporters , some twitter staff were cut off as they were not able to check the email. They said the deadline was Saturday and some did not checked the emails due to the weekend. And even some of the employees lost access to their work systems.
Musk emailed the staff saying that the company has the authority to sue workers if they leak any confidential information. And the employees discovered that they were unable to access the systems as they had been cut off. Musk wrote in his Friday e mail: “As evidenced with the aid of the many precise leaks of personal Twitter statistics, a few humans at our employer continue to behave in a manner contrary to the enterprise’s pastimes and in violation of their NDA,” in step with Schiffer. He added:’’ if you actually and deliberately violate the NDA that you signed when you joined, you take delivery of legal responsibility to the entire extent of the regulation & Twitter will immediately are seeking damages.”
