As Technology is flourishing day by day, Data Breaches are rapidly increasing in whole world whether they belong from technical Background or non technical.
Recently, Electronics Giant ” Samsung ” announced on Friday that they are experiencing Data Breaches in their organisation, which happen second time in a year.
“Today, we are taking a moment to inform everyone that we are recently facing a cybersecurity incident that affected some of their information,” Samsung said in a statement.
Samsung said that the Information which is leaked includes Name of Customer , Contact information , Demographic Information, Date of Birth and Product Registration Information. The Company claims that the leaked data did not include Social security numbers, Debit or Credit card Information.
Firstly , The company announced in March that there was a incident of Data Breach of Company’s Internal data.
According to Bloomberg, a few months before a community of hackers named as LAPSUS$ published a post on their own Telegram Channel that it contained many confidential data of Samsung and the company’s Security systems. But the representative of samsung further told to Bloomberg at the time that the cybersecurity data breach was not include Consumer’s Personal Data.
