The event would be an opportunity to engage in ‘’collaborative brainstorming’’ said Chief Justice D.Y Chandrachud. This event will help the public to get a knowledge of the proceedings of the court since the court’s main aim is to bring online live stream around the country.
In addition, courts are moving towards going completely paperless. The constitutional Commission, headed by Secretary Chandrachud has taken the first steps in this direction. Instead of the usual bulky files, all five of his judges on this bench listen to cases using laptops or tablets connected next to them. And since the pandemic days from the traditional hearings the court had to suffer to video conferences taking its toll and time.
We all know that the pandemic made a lot things suffer and due to that the lawyers for the hearing had to join physically and virtually. The court is making fundamental changes of filing of cases and an automated listing system without any human interface.
