With the Future Unicorns Launchpad, Get Set Learn & TiE Bangalore will encourage students to develop their entrepreneurial talents.

November 23, 2018 (ANI/PRNewswire): Mumbai (Maharashtra), India Get Set Learn (previously Uniform Junction), a company of the Arvind Mafatlal Group, in collaboration with the TiE Bangalore, today announced the grand opening of New Unicorns Launchpad 2022 (FUL), a groundbreaking mega-confluence designed to encourage students to adopt entrepreneurial thinking by fostering innovation and utilizing 21st-century skills like creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. The biggest program of its type attempts to foster and motivate young people to adopt entrepreneurial thinking.

The Futures Unicorns Launchpad program is structured as a slew of competitions complemented by interactions with peers, business leaders, beginning unicorns, deep thinkers, and possible mentors. The program was created to incorporate the main objective of the National Policy On education, which is to support entrepreneurship and does so by expanding the creative and adaptable curricular frameworks of teaching in the classrooms.

Based on TiE Bangalore’s over two decades of experience in promoting entrepreneurship, particularly in effectively managing the TiE Future Entrepreneurs (TYE) program for more than five years, this mega-program aspires to serve as a medium to expedite and extend entrepreneurship education. With the help of the curriculum, students are allowed to gain practical experience in building teams, advertising methods, business strategies, strategic leadership, and innovation to create fantastic goods and organizations. This is the initial year together in new series which will permit students in different schools across the nation to take part and study entrepreneurship in a hands-on setting.

The organizers of this distinctive entrepreneurial program have partnered with numerous schools from around the nation for the first edition, making this the biggest event of this magnitude and character that spans the entire nation.

The New Unicorns Launchpad process began with a nationwide entrepreneurship quiz, with over 15,000 college students from all over the nation registering to participate. Thereafter, workshops and mentoring sessions with businesspeople and faculty from TiE are held to help students hone their pitch ideas and gain insightful information about the business world.

The goal is to strengthen our collaboration with TiE in order to identify and promote entrepreneurial talent among students in grades 8 through 12 and to emphasize the value of entrepreneurship in K–12 education. The students will also have the opportunity to interact with a peer group, unicorn start-up founders, academics, and mentors from all over the nation who can introduce them to different cultures, ideas, perspectives, and attitudes seen in the global economy, according to Ameet Zaverii, CEO and Co-Founder of Get Set Learn.

“The relationship with TiE Bangalore is a huge step towards meeting the National Education Policy’s goal to reposition the nation’s educational system in alignment with the needs of a new generation of workers,” he added.

On January 9 and 10, 2023, the New Unicorn Launchpad 2022 edition will come to a close with a 2-day riveting Entrepreneurship Basic training and gala award ceremony, where top student teams will prepare business plan hitters to investors drawn from the main pool of start-ups, companies, and other industry experts.

The top three successful teams will also go on a field trip to the Unicorn set up in Bengaluru in addition to receiving cash prizes and certificates. The ability for schools to establish business cells, in addition to further idea-fostering and student coaching from TiE, is another standout feature of this Entrepreneurship Bootcamp.

According to Madan Padaki, president of TiE Bangal, “The manner Potential Unicorns Launchpad has now been conceived is to not only promote creativity and appearance but also to construct skill sets, such as team spirit, management systems abilities, required for a young student’s long journey as a business person and a specialist, accept ownership as well as getting variables like errors or feedback (both critical and positive) in their path and handling it positively.”

With the Next Unicorns Launchpad, Get Well Learn and TiE hope to find and support around 50K students in the upcoming season.
