Chinese brand Xiaomi has introduced a new accessory for iPhones. The company has named it Magnetic Wireless Power Bank. It will work as both a wireless power bank and a wireless charger. A wireless charger is also provided in this power bank. The company has introduced it at a price of only $ 29 (199 yuan). According to reports, the latest Xiaomi accessory has been designed for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12.
At present, no information has been received about whether the new charger will work with the iPhone 14. Actually, the company has not mentioned anywhere on its website whether its latest device will support the iPhone 14 or not. Xiaomi has also not shared any information about its shipping.
The accessory will act as both a magnetic wireless power bank and a wireless charger. Hence, the power bank and charger have been made modular. Customers can also separate them, but for that customers will have to buy a USB Type-C adapter separately.
The airline-safe power bank in the accessory packs a 5,000mAh battery. It will automatically charge the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 by attaching magnetically without pressing the button on the device. The company claims that it supports USB Type-C port for both 20W input and 12W output.
It also has a pogo pin, which is required for wireless charging stand and connection. The stand has a USB Type-C port, which needs to be plugged into an adapter for charging. The company has introduced it only in White color option. Like other Xiaomi accessories, this too will be available only in China.
