The development came after Shweta Singh Kirti voiced concern over the lack of updates and made a request with Narendra Modi, the prime minister, for help in the CBI investigations. On June 14, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his sixth-floor duplex apartment in the Mont Blanc Apartments in Bandra, near Joggers’ Park. According to first reports, it looked to be a suicide, and the Bandra police reported an accidental death. On the other hand, Rajput’s passing generated a great deal of speculation and requests for an in-depth investigation of the events preceding up to his passing.
