How to deal with writer’s block
The most difficult conundrum is to tackle the blockage in our minds when we sit to write. Anyway, straight getting into the points may help to deal with your writer’s block if you are facing it.
Patience while in chaos
Taming chaos is a daunting task for writers. It also sticks around for days, for months, and does not want to leave you either. Well, our earth wasn’t found without chaos. It has a void, deep within, and it took years for it to nurture us. So, deal with the block with patience.
What it means is, just write. Keep writing whatever comes to your mind. Don’t focus on what you are writing about. Use imperfect words, small lines, scribble, take a notepad, this way you can take a break.
Take a walk
The author says she does it often. She indulges in yoga and meditation or just goes
out for a hike. Try this, close to nature you will feel refreshed.
Do not write for readers
What she means here is do not always write to please your readers. Write for
yourself. Don’t panic in middle on what my readers would love or will it work well
or am I structuring it correct. So throw the market and commercials out of the
window. It will work.
Have the inner conviction that you have to write for your dreams.
