Sonal Torane, an ambitious Indian girl, who has been born and brought up in Mumbai. A music enthusiast and an amateur photographer who loves to capture nature’s beauty. She is an atheist who believes in humanity. She opines that even though there are terrible ugly sides of humans but still somewhere, love and humanity reside in the heart of a human. She proudly calls herself a feminist and desires to breathe freely in a women-friendly world. She firmly believes in the basic principles of justice, equality, fraternity, liberty, and humanity. She is also a nature lover who strongly believes that someday, this world would be a better place for each and every living being. Her biggest inspiration is her family.
Sonal is pursuing graduation at present. She is determined to become a psychologist. From her standpoint, she does not want anyone to suffer from psychological issues and wants to help people through their mental problems. She observes that psychological issues are still considered a disgrace in our Indian society and she is trying to break this social stigma. In the future, she plans to work for underprivileged people who do not have access to psychological treatments.
Sonal began writing to be at peace with herself as writing soothed her mind. Initially, she scribbled down some poetic lines, expressing her deep, dark feelings. She received support and appreciation for her writing. Earlier, she felt that writing was not her cup of tea. However, today she has won many awards as the best writer. That was a magical transition in her life
Sonal’s journey of writing was not so easy but she never gave up. She kept on writing poems and short stories and gradually she improved. She has published her writings under many renowned publications such as The Little Booktique Hub, Flairs and Glairs, Rosewood Publication, Spectrum of Thoughts as a co-author. Now, she is a proud co-author of 30+ published anthologies and 10+ anthologies are yet to publish. In addition, she is the compiler of an anthology titled Prejudice: A Choked Demolition under Inspired Wings Publication.
Sonal did not stop at just publishing her art of writing. She started participating in writing competitions organized by various writing communities and won more than 80 competitions. She has achieved The Best Writer title. Later on, she felt to give a voice to her poems. Therefore, she started participating in many virtual open mic contests and won The Best Speaker title. In addition, she has participated in a virtual International Poetry Competition by Pledge Nexus and acquired second place. Her write-ups are being featured in magazines, both national and international. She is featured in Taare Zameen Par Magazine, July Edition 2021, and received a trophy. She has won the All India Best Writer Award 2021, The Leading Attainers Award 2021, and The Standing Ovations Award 2021. And she desires to achieve more.
She considers herself a dreamer and a dream achiever. She dreams to inspire people through her little knowledge and talents and work for the betterment of underprivileged people. She firmly believes in her dreams and works hard to achieve them.
