The Rhythms & Shades Of Life, Hemanth Fernando’s anthology composes and paints it all :

Anto Hemanth, a 21 y/o literature aspirant from Coimbatore has published his first
work, an anthology named “Rhythmic Shades”. You may ask, “So what? Many
who are alot younger than him have published a lot more in number. What
difference does his work make?”. His is way more different. He never had passion

towards writing nor interests towards reading in his 20 summers of life. “Writing
was never my cup of tea until last year,” he says.
He has always been a guy who was leading an anti-social life avoiding
all the modern socializations and trends. He was an introverted personality and was
only into academics but nothing. In 2020, he had certain hopes of changing his
personality into something brighter and better but unfortunately because of covid-
19, there was complete wreckage of all his plans and resolutions. All he needed
was a change. He was ready to go to the extreme and beyond to achieve the
personally needed change, but nothing could he do.
Most of them who he knew had companionships and certain other things
on which they could distract themselves from loneliness during the quarantine. “
It’s worse than death to suffer in silence,” he says. He was totally triggered by his
certain physical inabilities, mental pressures and emotional crisis. He had to go
through a horrible phase of depression with him recollecting and lamenting again
and again over the thoughts of traumas that affected him in the past and unfulfilled
desires/wishes that made him desperate at the moment. He says that the best
decision that he has taken in his entire life till date is “writing”, pouring his
thoughts and emotions into words and poems. Writing something everyday was
really productive and it helped him distract himself for the good . He regained his
proper healthy life when he discovered that he could create a brand new world with
the help of writing. Writing changed his life for the best from the worst. It helped
him recover from depression.
His work, an anthology of 70 poems, is based on his musings on
traumatic past, chaotic present and dramatic future.
“Let your souls listen to the voice of the voiceless. . .” His anthology,
penned under the name Hemanth Fernando is a collection of soulful musings of an
old-odd soul wandering in the mazed phases, exploring the scarrusts and the
stardusts. With voices unheard and choices un-feared; with dreams shattered and
screams shuttered, the soul bleeds in agony, loves in fantasy seeking ecstasy. Little
does it know, all it needs is an eternal harmony. “ Explore with the soul, the
ecstasy of fantasy and the insanity of reality. ”

“It is never about achievements but fulfillments,” he says. Yet he’s
really glad for the appreciation and recognition and awards he has received so far
and he has taken an oath that he would help and support those who are in need of
emotional support. He assures that he would continue writing to delight his
readers. He is currently working on three books at a time and spreading positivity
and hopes through his quotes and writings on his insta handle.

“ The sun may fail to shed its light, but I shall never fail to shed my words. . .”
