The late actor, whom was remembered for his love for time, had an ongoing impact on his co-stars, particularly while they were filming “Sonchiriya,” when his joy for the stars was visible.
The actor who played with Sushant in “Sonchiriya,” Ranvir Shorey, speaks about the strong closeness they had owing to the same love of physics and recalls the wonderful times they had there. Despite we was not very close, we were still friends. Together, we was working. He had travelled multiple trips home. And throughout the two months that we spent shooting “Sonchiriya,” we really got along really well. And because we both enjoy physics, which is how we bonded over it. We spoke about the incident a lot,” remembered Ranvir.
Ranvir still remembered when Sushant took his big telescope to the sites to see a lunar eclipse with Saturn descending behind it. The gesture was meant to convey an intimate experience with others at work, instead of just stargazing. “I remember there being an eclipse during the time we were filming. Saturn was positioning itself behind the lunar eclipse. Ranvir said, “He flew down his big camera from Bombay just for that.” They arrived with drinks and snacks in hand as they amazed at the amazing display taking place, thanks to Sushant’s infectious joy.
Ranvir commented on the incident and noted the special feature of seeing celestial bodies through the lens of a telescope as as opposed to watching them on a screen.
